About Me

I am an artist based in Somerset, with a particular focus on aviation and wildlife.

My passion for aviation is deeply rooted in family history: my father served in the RAF, and my grandfather flew as a bomber pilot during the Second World War.

This heritage inspired a lifelong fascination with aircraft and their stories.

Living close to RNAS Yeovilton, much of my aviation work naturally centres on the Fleet Air Arm.

Wildlife has always captivated me, and I find endless inspiration in the natural world.

I regularly visit wildlife parks and zoos to study animals, and I aspire to travel to Africa to observe them in their native habitats.

Beyond aviation and wildlife, I have created a variety of commissioned works, including pet portraits, sporting scenes, landscapes, and other subjects.

I welcome any feedback on my work, and if you would like to discuss a painting or explore the possibility of a commission, please feel free to get in touch.

“The most important skill an artist can have is the ability to bring a painting to life, to make metal gleam like metal, glass shine like glass, and to capture the way light truly behaves. "Painting is the art of illusion, and my goal is to master that illusion”
